For many years, Halina has been advising Polish and foreign entities on all aspects of real estate law. She has been practicing law in the following areas:
- Sale and purchase of industrial real estate, office and commercial buildings, hotels, agricultural land and residential real estate
- Joint ventures and related corporate issues in connection with the sale and purchase of real estate
- Rental and lease agreements for office, commercial and residential real estate on the part of tenants (lessees) and landlords (lessors)
- Real estate restructuring
- Audit of legal title to real estate in connection with financing and refinancing
- Spatial planning and development
- Administrative process (including obtaining decisions in the construction process)
- Consulting and negotiation of contracts related to the construction process (with the general contractor, designer and other participants in the construction process)

Between 2008–2018, Halina was Co-Chair of the Real Estate Committee at the American Chamber of Commerce in Poland and between 2010–2018, Chairwoman of the “Women in the Profession” initiative at K&L Gates law firm in Warsaw.
Between 1997–2010, She worked in the Warsaw office of Hogan & Hartson and then between 2010–2019 at K&L Gates Warsaw, first as Of Counsel and then as a partner overseeing real estate cases.
As part of her practice, she did courses and training in European Union law conducted in Brussels, and received a diploma from the British Law Centre under the auspices of Cambridge University.
